Mr. Hart brings over seventeen years of business experience to Hart Lazenby Commercial. He spent almost eight years in property management, leasing, and brokerage in the Little Rock area before forming Hart Lazenby Commercial in 2003. Mr. Hart was also part of First Tennessee Bank's mortgage banking division in Memphis, Tennessee for five years. A CCIM and graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking, he completed his MBA at the University of Memphis in 1991 and BBA at Harding University in Searcy, AR in 1990. Hart was recently selected by Arkansas Business Journal as a "Forty under Forty" designee recognizing the top 40 business people in the state under the age of forty and has been published in Commercial Investment Real Estate, a national trade journal for CCIMs.
Mr. Hart currently serves as Board Chairman for Central Arkansas Transit Authority, he is past president of Central Arkansas Christian Schools’ Development Council, and is a board member on Leadership Little Rock’s Alumni Board. Hart has served on the Maumelle Planning Commission and is a current member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Blake Lazenby, Partner

Mr. Lazenby has over ten years of experience in commercial real estate to offer his clients. After graduating with a business degree from the University of Arkansas in 1997, he began a career in commercial real estate as a leasing agent and broker of commercial property. After enjoying several years of success in this field, Blake was named Vice President of Leasing and Brokerage for one of the largest commercial real estate firms in Arkansas. He has been involved with several volunteer organizations such as the United Way and the North Little Rock Boys and Girls Club. Mr. Lazenby is also a graduate of Leadership Little Rock; a program designed for business leaders to become more involved with issues facing the community. In August of 2003, Mr. Lazenby and Mr. Hart joined to form their new company. In 2005 Blake was selected by Arkansas Business Magazine as a “Forty under Forty” designee.

Prior to working with Hart Lazenby, Mr. Harkins was Vice President and Principal Broker for Henry Corporation specializing in multi-family brokerage and development. Prior to employment with Henry Corporation, Mr. Harkins was a partner with Orion Realty in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The most notable projects under Orion Realty’s umbrella were the Clear Creek Residential and Commercial Development and Blessings Golf Course in Johnson, AR. Mr. Harkins has prior experience in the central Arkansas market as an associate with Flake and Kelley Commercial.
Mr. Harkins has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation. Active in the community, Mr. Harkins civic activities include: Committee for the Future (Benefiting Arkansas Children’s Hospital), Golf Tournament Chair for the 2007 Committee for the Future Tournament, Make a Wish Foundation Volunteer and Wish Grantor, Downtown Little Rock Rotarian, and past member of the Board of Directors for Serenity Park Rehabilitation Center. In 2004 he was named
"Forty under Forty" by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
Dave Carter, Senior Property Manager

Mr. Carter is the Senior Property Manager for Hart Lazenby Commercial serving as manager of both the Bank of America Plaza and Two Union Plaza in downtown Little Rock. Operations expenses have dropped 11% since taking over the management of the Bank of America Plaza. Mr. Carter previously held the dual role position as Director of Maintenance and Property Manager for 1.5 million square feet at one of Arkansas’ largest real estate firms. He has served in the real estate and construction industries for 14 years.
Mr. Carter is Past-President and former board member of BOMA Greater Little Rock. He currently serves as the President of the Southwest Region of BOMA International covering 5 states and over 3,000 members. He also is a member of the BOMA International Finance Committee that serves as the oversight group for all financial dealings of the 1,7000 member organization including budgeting and expenses.
Mr. Carter is a certified BOMI Instructor.
He is the Youth Pastor at the Little Rock Church of God, an outdoorsman, a husband to a lovely wife and father of two wonderful girls.
Angela Brooks, Property Manager

Miss Brooks began her employment with Hart Lazenby Commercial in 2005 as the company’s office manager. She had three years of previous office management experience with a heating and air company based out of Bryant, AR. In 2006 she earned her real estate license and now manages the Windriver Building as well as all of Hart Lazenby Commercial’s retail developments. In addition she earned her degree in Business Administration (emphasis in Human Resources) in 2006 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Miss Brooks is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Little Rock.

Ms. Selby joined Hart Lazenby Commercial in
April 2008. She moved to
Little Rock from
Denver,
Colorado in December 2005. Ms.
Selby graduated cum laude from the
University
of Arkansas
at Little Rock with a Bachelor’s of Business
Administration in Management. Ms. Selby
has more than six years of administrative
experience and over three years of experience in
training and development. She is a member
of the Arkansas chapter of the American Society for
Training and Development. At Hart Lazenby, Ms.
Selby is responsible for Property Management and
quality control.
Ms. Selby, her husband Jay E. Selby, and
their Bichon Frise named Moonglow enjoy hiking
and camping throughout Arkansas.
Katie Haynes, Marketing Manager

Miss Haynes is the Marketing Manager for the
Hart Lazenby Commercial team.
She is responsible for marketing material
and distributing to agents and potential buyers,
updating the Hart Lazenby website (www.hartlazenby.com)
which links to Loopnet and reaches millions of
potential real estate users worldwide.
She communicates with other firms in the
area to make sure the Hart Lazenby leasing team
has the most up to date information on
properties for sale or lease in the market
place.
Miss Haynes also assists in various
development and property management projects for
the firm.
Originally from
Georgia, Miss Haynes now
lives in
Maumelle,
AR and plans on getting her real
estate license in the near future.
Mat Miller, Leasing and Brokerage Agent

Mr. Miller is currently
employed as a leasing and brokerage agent for
Hart Lazenby Commercial.
He joined Hart Lazenby in 2007 after
spending 7 years in the banking business, where
his primary focus was on mortgage banking.
After graduating with a marketing degree
from the University
of Arkansas
at Fayetteville in 2000, Mr. Miller began a
career in banking at Metropolitan National Bank,
where he worked on both the retail banking side,
as well as in the mortgage lending division.
Mr. Miller also has worked for Centennial
Bank, where he was a mortgage loan officer, and
for Delta Trust and Bank, where he was the Vice
President of Production for the mortgage
division. Mr. Miller has been involved with
several volunteer organizations such as the
Nature Conservatory, the Arkansas Sports Hall of
Fame, and he has also served as a volunteer
coach in youth football.
Mr. Miller is a native of
Little Rock, graduating from
Catholic High School in 1996.
Mat is married to Candice Terry Miller,
and the couple has one child, Alexander Terry
Miller.
Steve Davenport

Mr. Davenport is
employed by Hart Lazenby Commercial as the
maintenance engineer at the Bank of America
Plaza and Two Union National Plaza
buildings in downtown
Little Rock. Steve has 18
years of industrial maintenance experience
including five years as a Machinist Mate in the
U.S. Navy and six years as a maintenance
engineer. In addition to his naval education, he
has taken Basic Air Conditioning and
Refrigeration (HVAC), and Basic Electricity
courses at Pulaski Technical
College. Mr. Davenport
obtained his High Pressure Boilers License in
1997. He is a 1988 graduate of Newport High School
in
Newport, Arkansas. Mr. Davenport is an avid fisher and
hunter.
Billy Henson

Mr. Henson is employed
by Hart Lazenby Commercial as the chief engineer
at the Bank of America Plaza and Two Union National Plaza
buildings in downtown
Little Rock. He has
worked as the engineer of the Bank of America
Plaza building since its construction. Mr.
Henson has more than 49 years of experience in
industrial maintenance and engineering. He is a
Master Electrician. Billy graduated from Malvern High School
in
Malvern, Arkansas. Mr. Henson is an accomplished
hunter.
